Born in New York City in 2003, Weissman followed in her model mother's footsteps when she signed to the New York Models agency aged eight, and made her acting debut in the live action reboot, 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' (2014), playing the younger version of Megan Fox's strong-willed news reporter April O'Neill. Actress Malina Weissman began her career playing younger versions of comic book characters April O'Neill and Supergirl before starring as Violet Baudelaire in Lemony Snicket adaptation 'A Series of Unfortunate Events' (Netflix, 2017-).
